DESCRIPTION
Rocking chair, original from the early 1900 Art Nouveau, with ebonised curved beech frame, upholstered seat, back and armrests.
Restored and reupholstered in leather of excellent workmanship in a patinated tan colour, the contrast is stunning. In bent beechwood steam, with the technique developed by designer Michael Thonet.
Elegantly beautiful design, with a retractable footrest, which can also be removed, rare piece, with “Thonet “ Stamp.
In excellent vintage condition, some minor marks to the wood all to be expected with a vintage piece this age.
